Harry Potter 7.2
Building up my excitement for the final Harry Potter movie to be released, I decided to watch all 7 of the previous movies, since I hadn't seen half of them and I couldn't remember the other half. By the time the movie released last Thursday, I had turned into a Hogwart's nerd. I wouldn't recommend going to see Sleepy Hollows Part 2 unless you have seen the other movies, you might find yourself getting a little lost. I was so intrigued with the movies that I want to go back and read all of the books, just to get more! It's a definite must see!
Pirates of the Caribbean- on Stranger Tides
I am a HUGE Pirates fan and have gone to all of the midnight viewings with the exception of this one. I didn't have high standards for this one without Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, but it was well developed and as always it was a box office hit! I am a little worried about the rumors for future P.O.T.C. I've heard that they have already filmed 5 & 6 but Johnny Depp tells fans that he has yet to see a script. I do hope this is not correct, P.O.T.C won't be the same without him, he makes the movie!
Transformers-Dark of the Moon
The special effects are, as always, were amazing! I didn't like Megan Fox, so I was thrilled she wasn't in this one. I loved the constant action in this one, but Bumble Bee didn't make much of an appearance, which was a little disappointing. I do believe that three should be the lucky number and call it quits...they would be stretching it if they came out with another one. I do love transformers, but the original is by far the best!

The Five Love Languages
I have just discovered this wonderful thing called, "The five Love Languages". Ever feel like you are speaking a totally different language from your partner? That's because you probably are! Here are the five love languages:
Words of Affirmation
Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important—hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten.
Quality Time
In the vernacular of Quality Time, nothing says, “I love you,” like full, undivided attention. Being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there—with the TV off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby—makes your significant other feel truly special and loved. Distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful.
Receiving Gifts
Don’t mistake this love language for materialism; the receiver of gifts thrives on the love, thoughtfulness, and effort behind the gift. If you speak this language, the perfect gift or gesture shows that you are known, you are cared for, and you are prized above whatever was sacrificed to bring the gift to you. A missed birthday, anniversary, or a hasty, thoughtless gift would be disastrous—so would the absence of everyday gestures.
Acts of Service
Can vacuuming the floors really be an expression of love? Absolutely! Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. The words he or she most want to hear: “Let me do that for you.” Laziness, broken commitments, and making more work for them tell speakers of this language their feelings don’t matter.
Physical Touch
This language isn’t all about the bedroom. A person whose primary language is Physical Touch is, not surprisingly, very touchy. Hugs, pats on the back, holding hands, and thoughtful touches on the arm, shoulder, or face—they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love. Physical presence and accessibility are crucial, while neglect or abuse can be unforgivable and destructive.
The best way to come up with your love language is for you and your loved one to take a quick quiz. Be sure to do them separately.
There are two different quizzes to pick from:

or

After Dustin and I took the quiz, we found out that I am "Words of Affirmation", while he is "Acts of Service" man. I know personally, this has given me insight and help in my relationship.
I hope you will find this very useful & if you get a chance, be sure to pick up a copy of the book, "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.

No back-ups needed
I'm sure you have had a "back-up" before. Whether you are a male or female, you have kept someone around, just in case your current relationship might fail. Unfortunately I've been in this boat many times, in fact, every relationship I have ever been in I've always had a "back-up man". It's sad to admit, but I feel I need to. The last relationship I was in, we were engaged. Even though Mike and I had real concrete plans to get married and start a future together, I still let an ex, Everett, hang around in case things didn't work out. Knowing I would never go back to Everett, I just used him when I needed a pick-me-up, to make me feel better, to feel loved & wanted.
The man I am with now, Dustin, was never a back-up plan that I just kept hanging onto until something went wrong. I actually met him & he became one of my very good friends & while Mike & I were having problems. He was right there beside me, every step of the way. It became clear to me in the last month of my relationship with Mike, that I actually wanted, for once, for everything to go wrong in our relationship so that I could be with Dustin. Although, I did not take any action, things did get worse. After Mike and I decided to call things off, I finally got what I wanted, Dustin. He's everything I could have ever wanted or prayed for. His imperfections made him absolutely perfect in my eyes.
At first, I was a little weary & did keep Everett around. But, this time he wasn't a back-up plan, we were just trying to be friends. Having other men or women in your life who you have been emotionally attached to, no matter the length, does nothing but make things more complicated. For the first time in my life, I don't need a "back-up man" & I'm thrilled! I was able to get rid of the ex's & anyone who I have had emotional attachment to. I thought it would be hard, but since it has happened, I feel absolutely wonderful.
I have realized you should only keep the people you can't live without in you life.. the others will just confuse things.
Once you find that person that makes you feel like there is no "back-up" needed...don't ever let them go!
Officially aborted all back-up plans <3

"Brownies in a Jar"
Even though we have about a year and half until my man gets deployed, I get into these arts & crafts moods & have been seeing "Cakes in a Jar" to send to your loved ones over seas. Not being much of a cake fan, I decided to make "Brownies in a Jar" with mini Reese's Cups! The normal recipe says to follow all instructions, then fill the jar 1/2 way full with the mix, bake as directed. Forgetting that brownie mix doesn't rise like cake mix does, so when I pulled them out of the oven, they were still only at the half way mark. They turned out to be perfect for my hunnie, because it was just the right amount and he won't waste any. Or maybe he was just saying this to make me feel better. Either way, ladies, learn from my mistake! Brownie mix doesn't rise like cake mix does, so be sure to fill it up when making "Brownies in a Jar".
Enjoy!
